Lava

  • Their ponds / lava is cool to the touch but can be extremely hot if the pondpony wants it to be. So be careful, you might lose a hoof!
  • When they open their eyes, lava commonly runs down the corners of their eyes. This is very annoying to them at times so they greatly prefer to maintain them closed. Having them open or closed isn't much of a difference anyways since they can't exactly 'see' when their eyes are open. again, it's more of an annoyance to them.
  • Their lava/magma starts to bubble rapidly when angered
  • Their manes tend to be drippy
  • They are commonly found in dry / rocky areas
  • They actively avoid water but some enjoy being near it
  • When in contact with water, their mane / pond can solidify into rock and will take quite a while to go back to normal
